Jack and the Beanstalk at the Savoy Theatre, Monmouth

November 15th, 2021

Pantomime is back at the Savoy Theatre, Monmouth this December, as Spontaneous Productions bring you Jack and the Beanstalk! OH YES THEY DO!!!

The land of theatre has been tearfully quiet for the past eighteen months, with live entertainment at a complete standstill: we’ve all taken to streaming just to get our fix, but it’s not the same, is it? Well even our favourite panto characters have been out of work – everybody say “ahhh”. No, it’s worse than that…aahhhh! With local businesses closing – some permanently, eating out being a game of chance and Christams shopping coming to a halt last year we were living a real life pantomime -BOO! … but fear not! For our fairytale heroes have been busy working behind the scenes this year and are making their way to the Savoy Theatre stage THIS December! Hurray!!

We’ve got schools shows, family shows, and a special ‘relaxed’ performance designed for those audiences who prefer a quieter show ideal for younger ones or those with additional needs. Plus our ever popular ADULT only performances a perfect alternative for office parties or a fun-filled evening with colleagues and friends!

Sam Densham, who runs Spontaneous Productions, said, “It’s so exciting to be making a come back, after Theatre has been dark for so long, being able to offer jobs once more to actors, technicians and crew in their chosen profession – we really have missed the glitter and magic of our theatre home.”

So get ready to shout louder than you’ve ever shouted before and let us make this a Christmas to remember! To book tickets for your GIANT adventure call The Savoy Theatre box office- 01600 772467 or visit www.monmouth-savoy.co.uk
