There are few things better than snuggling down to watch a good film is there? And when it happens in the company of others, that only adds to the experience.

On the last Friday of each month, you can enjoy a fabulous film in the company of Crickhowell locals at the Crickhowell Cosy Cinema. Films are screened in the Clarence Hall and movie goers are urged to bring their own comfy seats and refreshments, so they can truly enjoy the experience. Some film fans even bring their own loungers, blankets, hot water bottles and picnics…all adding to the Friday night fun.
So far movie goers have enjoyed films such as I, Daniel Blake, Brooklyn and Gone Girl to name a few. The next Cosy Cinema evening takes place on 28th April with a screening of The Girl on the Train starring Emily Blunt as Rachel Watson, a commuter who catches daily glimpses of a seemingly perfect couple from her train window. When Rachel witnesses something shocking in the backyard of the strangers’ home, she becomes entangled in a missing persons investigation that sends schockwaves throughout her life.
Entry is £4, doors open at 7pm and film selections are decided in advance via a Facebook poll. Search for Crickhowell Cosy Cinema on Facebook to keep up to date with film polls and screenings.
