I tasted these lovely squares at a village fete I recently attended. I thought they were delicious so I asked the lady who baked them for the recipe. Not something that you would want to eat every day but certainly a lovely weekend treat.

  • 180g brown sugar
  • 3 eggs (beaten)

  • 154g Oreo biscuits, crushed
  • 70g white chocolate chips
  • 70g milk chocolate chips

  2. Line a baking tin approx 13”x9” with foil
  3. Cream butter and sugar together with mixer
  4. Gradually beat in eggs together with the vanilla extract until well combined
  5. Add half of the flour together with the baking powder and salt, beat together with a wooden spoon, add the remaining flour (the mixture will be quite stiff)
