Christmas shopping can, if you let it, get a bit ‘same old, same old.’ Soulless shopping muzak, glaring lights and interminable queues in department stores can put a dampener on the most ardent of Christmas spirits. Happily, your Christmas shopping experience needn’t be like this. In fact, the solution lies much, much closer to home…
On Thursday 12th December, many of Abergavenny’s independent shops will be keeping their doors open until 8pm, providing a perfect opportunity to enjoy a spot of late night shopping in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The event is also a great way to show support of our independent retailers whose high street presence gives our town its special and unique identity.
If you’re looking for a special Christmas gift, something that little bit different to what you might find in your typical high street shop, then make sure you go along. The air will be full of Christmas aromas as the mulled wine and hot chocolate flows and festive nibbles and mince pies will be sure to keep the Christmas shopping fires stoked. Carol singers will add to the spirit of the festivities, while shoppers can browse until late and enjoy the many in-store promotions that will be on offer throughout the evening. Why not go along and get your Christmas shopping done in one hit?
