The Art Shop & Chapel, Abergavenny, NP7 5SD
 Fri 11th October 2024 8:00PM
Welsh guitarist, Dylan Fowler, has developed an International career as a soloist through more than a twenty year relationship with the prestigious German label, Acoustic Music Records.

In May 2024 his latest album for AMR, Ebb & Flow, was released and is the culmination of many years developing solo repertoire that encompasses his eclectic influences. The music ranges from the Celtic music of his native Wales through his literal and metaphorical ‘travels’ in music that have taken him to the Balkan countries, India, South America, North America and many parts of Europe. In performances he will take you on a musical journey that ‘Flows’ in such a way that a Welsh Triple Harp tune sits perfectly next to apiece by the great Keith Jarrett.

These are some of the Festivals that he’s appeared at over the years: Canadian International Guitar Festival (twice), East/West Festival, Bangalore India with the great Indian guitarist, Konarak Reddy, Guitaras del Mundo Festival, Argentina, Six Strings guitar festival, Italy (three times), International Guitar Night Tour, Germany (four times), International Guitar Festival, Czech Republic supporting Tommy Emannuel.

Dylan has also toured with Danny Thompson, Richard Thompson, and has shared stages with Tony McManus, Don Ross, Ian Melrose, Soïg Siberil, Tony Byrne and many others. He has also conducted music workshops in Finland (Sibelius Academy), Italy, Bulgaria, Patagonia, Sweden and Wales.
