Toys and Kids Clothes Swap Event

This event will be an opportunity to meet up with other members of the toy share & clothes share groups and swap toys and children’s clothes together (and maybe enjoy a cuppa too!)

What you need to know:

Join Toy Share Abergavenny and Clothes Share Abergavenny for a toy and clothes swap. If you would like to take toys, please bring toys and vice versa if you would like to take clothes, please bring clothes. Everything will get put out on the day, if you’re not ready to part with something please don’t bring it, as there’s no guarantee you will find something you want in return (but in our experience everyone goes home happy with something from the day!)

Children’s Clothes Swap:
– We are only sharing children’s clothes from age 12mths – 12years. Please do not bring clothes for 0-12mths, we will not be accepting them at the event but you’re welcome to post them on @ClothesShareAbergavenny

-Please ensure the Children’s clothes are washed, folded and in age ranges ready to be placed out.
We can only accept wearable quality clothes 

-Hang around and take any clothes we’re left with at 12pm! Any left over clothes will be heading off to suitable charities in the community.

Toy Swap:
– Please bring a minimum of one clean, working toy, book or costume to swap. Think carefully about the quality of item you would like to go home with and try to ensure any items brought match your own expectations. No broken or dirty items will be accepted. Please ensure missing pieces are not detrimental to the enjoyment of the toy ie. jigsaws should be complete.

– you can take one toy for every good quality toy brought to the event.

– small items welcome! All tiny toys will be free. Lets save those small items from landfill!

-missing parts box! we will have a tub for missing parts, if you have a lonely ball for a pop toy you no longer have or the infamous phone for a walker/activity table please bring it so we can reunite some toys with their missing pieces.

– all left over toys will be listed on the toy share page for people to receive or reclaim, following this they will be donated charity.

– children are welcome, let them learn about the joy of sharing or give us a nudge if you want something that you need to hide from small eyes!
