In a long and illustrious career Jeremy Thomas has produced over seventy films.  During this time, he has worked with the very best.   Early on in his career he collaborated with Nicholas Roeg on Bad Timing, Bernado Bertolucci on The Last Emperor, David Cronenberg on Crash and Nagisa Oshima’s Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence.  The roll call of brilliant partnerships continued with extraordinary talents like Terry Gilliam, Jonathan Glazer, Richard Linklater, Wim Wenders and Jim Jarmusch.   Thomas continues to work with the most interesting of younger directors like Ben Wheatley on High Rise.   He is currently working on a project with Stephen Frears – a film adaptation of the Jonathan Coe novel Mr Wilder and Me.      This is a unique chance to come and hear him talk about his life in cinema.  For tickets – events@artshopandchapel.co.uk – 01873 852690/736430.
