CONVERSATIONS AT THE CHAPEL – ABERGAVENNY – CLIVE HICKS-JENKINS – THURSDAY 18 SEPTEMBER – 7.30 PM

Artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins has had several close and brilliant collaborations with poets.  He has worked on three books with Poet Laureate Simon Armitage.  And provided images for Seamus Heaney’s translation of Beowulf. For the Folio Society this year he has illustrated Emily Wilson’s acclaimed translations of The Iliad and The Odyssey.

He was the recipient of the 2019 Owain Glyndwr Medal for his Contributions to the Arts in Wales, and in 2020 was the winner of the V&A Illustrated Book Award.
