Annual Potato Growing Challenge

The North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation & Aftercare Charity‘s annual Potato Growing Challenge kicks off this month, with kits available on 7 March, from midday-4pm, at Treebeards Bar in Crickhowell High Street.

Kits will also be available from the Abergavenny Garden Centre on the weekends of 14-15 March and 21-22 March, from 10am-4pm.

Entry costs £5 and includes a 10-litre pot and Charlotte seed potato. Simply grow your potato on, using whatever soil, compost, fertiliser or other magic ingredient you choose, until Saturday 11 July.

Then take your pot along to the Abergavenny Garden Centre from 2pm-4pm for the official Weigh-In.

All ages welcome, plus a chance to win great prizes!
