Eunice Paiva begins a lonely battle to learn the truth behind the disappearance of her husband, former party deputy Rubens during Brazil’s newly instituted military dictatorship, while trying to keep her family together. Her indefatigable search for the truth about her husband stretches out for decades. A devastating true story,  the film is exhilarating in its portrayal of human tenacity in the face of injustice.
