Penpergwm House

February 5th, 2024

Penpergwm House fully understands the commitment of providing quality care and promoting independence – resulting in a legacy of truly making the difference for the older person for nearly 37 years.

As well providing a home for those who require it, there is also a valuable alternative of support available – where individuals can come to the Home, by the day. This enables them to benefit from the extensive space and grounds available, gain both social and inspirational times together with enjoying a nutritious, two-course home-cooked lunch.

Penpergwm Club is an experienced service and has been tailored to offer Clients an opportunity to be part of the Home and enjoy spending time there to enjoy what is on offer and be supported by not just the staff but dedicated Club Coordinators who are on hand as much or as little as required. The Club runs between 10am – 4pm, every week day, and the aim is to provide comforting and reassuring enrichment which is more than just assisting individuals with their personal care needs. Penpergwm Club recognises the vital importance of social interaction in everyday life in all its different forms: from enjoying the chance to get some fresh air in the beautiful gardens, to taking part in a wide range of activities to just enjoying a conversation with someone new (or familiar) over a cup of tea and a treat.

The Penpergwm Club helps individuals to develop new relationships, build confidence and enjoy meaningful activities as well as offering a few hours of respite, if applicable, to those who would normally support them. Choice is at the core of everything they do; it is important that any Club members feel totally comfortable with how their day is conducted and they will be at the centre of deciding what suits them the best, each time they are at the Club.

For more information about taster sessions, prices and availability of joining the Club, contact the Home directly on 01873 840 267 or look the website: www.penpergwmhouse.org.uk.
