Over the years many of you will have enjoyed concerts in St. Michael and All Angels Church, Cwmdu, with its fine acoustics. In order to enable us to sustain and develop our programme of music, we have recently formed a charity – Friends of Cwmdu Music (FCM).
We have already organised four concerts for 2015 which are:
- March 6th The Sterling Trio – this ensemble of young musicians from Manchester offers an exciting combination of clarinet, flute and piano.
- May 8th Bone Appetit – an entertaining and exciting trombone quartet from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
- July 4th The Keith Little Band – a return visit of this highly regarded Jazz Band.
- Sept. 4th an organ recital by Meirion Wynn Jones – a former assistant organist at Brecon Cathedral.

You would enjoy the benefits of
reserved seating for all concerts; on occasions, the opportunity to meet performers before or after the concert over a glass of wine and membership of the Trust, with eligibility to vote at its meetings and to serve as Trustees.
The suggested donation for Friends is £25 per annum for individuals and £40 for couples living at the same address. No-one should be prevented by cost from becoming a Friend, so if you would find difficulty in paying this amount, but would still like to be a Friend, please let Janet know.
