It is almost 15 years to the day that I started Sugarloaf Catering from my kitchen at home, making ready prepared dishes, with local produce to sell at Farmers Markets. Many of the customers that we have today are people that we met during this time.
As the business developed, we have become predominately a Wedding and Event Caterer, but never forgot the roots where we came from. Many of our dishes on our menus were developed from these beginning’s.
So, in response to the current crisis we have put together a menu and delivery methods to help people stay at home and eat great homemade food, made with local produce, where possible, whilst staying safe.
We have a range of meals available for non-contact delivery of our ready meals, ranging from lasagne to beef bourguignon. Another dish that has made a comeback is our Great Taste Award winning Fishcakes, made with oak roasted salmon from Black Mountain Smokery in Crickhowell.
All our meat comes from Beavan’s Family Butchers in Abergavenny. All meals are homemade and are delivered in containers that can go straight into the oven or microwave. They are delivered chilled and suitable for home freezing. All dietary requirements will be catered for.
Deliveries are done from our refrigerated vehicle. Payment is done via a link to our electronic methods.
Every effort will be made for the safety of our customers and delivery staff, also, extra measures have been put in place for our food safety management system. All food is prepared in our purpose-built production kitchen.
