Focus Magazines The local magazines for Abergavenny, Crickhowell, Brecon & Talgarth – Events, News and Advertising

Food is lovely isn’t it? That’s why this month our feature is all about Taste of the culinary type. What do you like to eat and drink?

We have fantastic recipes from our friends at Natural Weigh in Crickhowell – why not pay them a visit and buy your ingredients without a load of plastic packaging included? If you like your food washed down with a craft beer and some music, then get involved in Woodfired Summit’s regular Priory Session gigs; wonderful food to be had at their events.
Of course, food isn’t always a luxury as Abergavenny Foodbank points out, being a desperate necessity that many people are stretched to afford.

And often gathering around a table in the company of others is as important as the food itself. Fortunately Abergavenny Community Centre celebrates the social side of food with its regular community café gatherings.
There’s loads more to get your teeth into this month with news about events coming up such as the Abergavenny Steam Rally  and Crickhowell Open Studios which are always popular events in the calendar. You’ll also find a new section to the Abergavenny Focus on Page 62 – the Focus Directory. This is a directory of all our advertisers, helpfully listed under different sections with their telephone numbers. So, if you need a plumber, a hairdresser or somewhere to eat, you can find the info quickly and easily.

This month we’ve expanded the distribution of the Abergavenny magazine so that a further 500 homes and businesses receive the publication. If you’re one of them, then welcome. We hope you enjoy the magazine and will support our local businesses!

Enjoy this months read!
