Internationally famous chef Franco Taruschio OBE formerly of The Walnut Tree, and the Centre’s own renowned chef Elaine Blanchard will be cooking for the Mayor of Abergavenny’s Gala Buffet at Abergavenny Community Centre on Merthyr Road on 7th April.
The Gala Buffet is being held in aid of Citizens Advice Abergavenny, the cause the Mayor has chosen to sponsor during his term of office. Citizens Advice on Cross Street provides a vital free and confidential service, offering advice on legal problems, welfare benefits, housing, debt, pensions, and family matters to anybody who needs it. Abergavenny Citizens Advice will use the money raised at the Gala to fund extra support workers to help meet a growing demand for their service.
The evening kicks off at 7pm with Hors d’ oeuvres and a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival, followed by a delicious hot and cold buffet (inspired and prepared by Franco and Elaine) using local produce and suppliers. Live entertainment by local musicians and a Prosecco Bar will top off what is sure to be a memorable evening.
The Mayor and Mayoress, David and Penny Simcock would like to invite you to be part of this very special fundraising event at Abergavenny Community Centre.
Bookings at £25 per head can be made on 07751 666481, 01873 856925 or aber.hub@gmail.com
