We invite you to celebrate with us by visiting the beautiful floral festival to be held during October in Llangattock Church nr Crickhowell.
This is to be staged by Abergavenny Flower Arrangement Society in celebration of their Club’s Emerald anniversary. Over the 55 years of the Club’s history the members have staged an annual festival and this is the first time they have exhibited their talents in Powys. It will be a joyous occasion not only depicting some of the religious festivals but secular and sporting festive celebrations as well. Llangattock Church In Wales Primary School will also contribute to the celebration. The Club feels fortunate in being invited to stage in Llangattock Church where there is a long and successful history of Flower Festivals. Over their history the Flower Club has supported many charities and raised many thousands of pounds. This time all proceeds will go towards supporting the work of Llangattock Church.
Do come along to the Festival – we are sure you will feel uplifted by the skills and interpretations of the arrangers. The Festival begins on Friday 20th October from 10.30am until 4pm and refreshments will be served daily. The Festival concludes on Sunday 22nd October at 4.30pm with Choral Evensong led by Llangattock Church Choir with its renowned reputation. A fitting opportunity for all to Celebrate and Sing.
