At Abergavenny Museum we have lots of new activities for the summer. Come and visit us to see:

Our Summer exhibition – Lady Llanover and her Circle – Saturday 28th May until Sunday 4th September

Our Kids in Museums Take Over Day Projects in partnership with Ysgol Gymraeg Y Fenni

Discover and Create in the Castle Grounds – our new nature activity booklet

On Saturday 9th July at 7pm we will be celebrating Lady Llanover in Welsh music and dance with Crickhowell Choral Society and Katherine Thomas, Harpist.  Children from Ysgol Gymraeg Y Fenni will be performing traditional dances.  Tickets available from Abergavenny Museum, Abergavenny Music, Webbs of Crickhowell and Crickhowell Choral Society (01873 810935) at £10 each. (Students free).  Bring a picnic.

Later in the Summer we will be holding a Lady Llanover inspired afternoon tea.  This will take place on Wednesday 3rd August from 3:30-5 in the Castle Grounds.  Alongside the refreshments, a triple harpist will perform.  Tickets are £29.50 and are available from the museum.

On Friday 19th August – Heartbreak Productions will be performing ‘Ratburger’ by David Walliams in the castle grounds.  Tickets are £13 for adults and £8 for children.  A family ticket is £39 (2 +2).  Tickets are available from the museum.
