Lynda Hall, together with Melanie Ward from Beaufort recently took part in a sponsored MoonWalk. No, not the Michael Jackson kind, but rather a 26.2 mile walk through the Streets of Edinburgh, Leith and Portobello in support of Breast Cancer awareness.
The walk set off at midnight on 7th June from Inverleith Park in Edinburgh with many participants dressed up as superheroes. While the inhabitants of Edinburgh slept, participants walked through the night towards the finish line.
Both Lynda and Melanie managed to raise over £1000 between them for Breast Cancer Awareness. Congratulations to them both!
