Abergavenny World Dance – a local community dance group based in Llanellen – is excited to be welcoming international Sacred Circle Dance teacher, June Watts, to Abergavenny on 5th April to lead a special circle dance workshop entitled ‘Uplifting’. June Watts has been involved with Circle Dance or Sacred Dance as it was then known, since 1982 and teaches Circle Dancing throughout the world from Gloucestershire to as far afield as the USA, and has written and published books on the topic.
The forthcoming workshop will have a spring theme. June explains that during the workshop, participants will be “dancing to the uplifting energy of spring, feet tingling on the warming earth and to open up to all the joy of our inner being and to new life bursting from the earth.”

June’s workshop will take place from 2-5.30pm at Abergavenny Guide Hall, Fairfield Car Park and is followed by Circle Dance from 7-9.30pm with live music. Tickets are £10 per person for the workshop or dance, or £20 per person for both.
