Dear Readers,
I’m told that Spring has sprung. In fact, as I look out of the window here at Focus HQ I can, indeed, see little lambs in the fields. I’m sure they’d be gambolling – as lambs are supposed to do – but the poor things are knee deep (do lambs have knees?) in the snow at the moment.
Despite the cold weather, lambs, daffodils and the niggling desire to do a deep-clean of the house, tells us that Spring is ‘officially’ here, at least, and as such, you’ll find lots of Springy things in this month’s Focus. We’ve also put together a fabulous array of artisan articles for you, in celebration of the amazing talents of the local artists and craftmakers who live in our area. You can find this on pages 29-39.
Our new Community Hub section is proving popular among our readers, and there’s plenty of information in there about lots of different goings on. Also, a few announcements from us here at the Focus, including your chance to win Afternoon Tea for Two at The Angel, so do take a peak at that!
And finally, we’re so proud that Abergavenny has been listed as one of the top places to live in the UK (as reported in the Sunday Times). Of course, we all knew that already, but it’s nice to be recognised, isn’t it?
Do enjoy the read and, if the snow hasn’t melted by the time this reaches you, keep warm!
Best Wishes,
Hannah
