Obviously the quantity of seeds your pumpkin yields will vary, but the following is based on 300g seeds.

Separate the seeds from your pumpkin and wash them well. Drain them and spread them out evenly on a baking sheet. Leave them to dry (or speed up the drying process with a hairdryer!)
Dress your seeds with one of the following seasonings:

  • Savoury Seeds: 2tbsp melted butter, ½ tsp garlic salt, 2tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Halloween Seeds: 2tbsp melted butter, 1tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp ground ginger, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp ground allspice
  • Spicy: 2tbsp melted butter, 1tsp cayenne pepper, ½ tsp thyme, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper
  • Natural: 2tbsp melted butter, 1tsp sea salt

 
Place in a preheated oven at 140C or 284F for 10-20 minutes checking them every few minutes and giving them a stir. Some ovens vary, and can take up to 30 minutes – just keep checking!
