Abergavenny Film Society Screening: Wilding (PG, 78mins), The Elvermen (14mins) AND Heart Valley (U, 19mins)

This week AFS presents 3 short but impactful documentaries focussing on the natural environment. ‘Wilding’ looks at the work of conservation pioneers Isabella Tree and Charlie Burrell as they manage the re-wilding of their 3,500 acre estate. ‘The Elvermen’ follows a group of  men overnight as they attempt to preserve the world’s dwindling stock of elvers. ‘Heart Valley’ is a multi award winning short about a day in the life of a shepherd in Ceredigion, looking at his lifestyle and discussing questions about the values society should fight to preserve.
