“A Garden Above the Estuary” by Adam Alexander
Adam, aka ‘the Seed Detective’, has a highly productive fruit and vegetable garden overlooking the Severn Estuary where he grows nearly five hundred rare, delicious heritage and heirloom varieties from around the world. In his talk he tells the story of his work as a seed guardian for the Heritage Seed Library and the benefits of sustainable and organic gardening. He claims that with very little effort, the most neglected space can be turned into an imperfect paradise! Filled with guidance, tips and techniques to keep growing affordable and pleasurable, his mantra is ‘if you want to eat great food, you should really grow it yourself’.
