You may have seen us singing in and around Abergavenny supporting fundraising for Tenovus. It is 80 years in June that Tenovus was founded by ten Cardiff businessmen. We are a cancer care charity offering support to those affected by cancer.
I am celebrating my 80th birthday the same month and I am doing a sponsored tandem paraglide on the 10th June from the Blorenge into Castle Meadows to raise as much money as I can to celebrate this amazing Welsh charity. A big thank you to Alistair Andrews of Crickhowell Paragliding.
Our choir is growing week by week. We are a friendly mixed bunch of about 50. Our practice, singing popular songs, is full of fun and laughter. We meet once a week at the Priory rooms at St Marys at St Marys Church Abergavenny, with social get togethers throughout the year If you enjoy singing, come Singwithus! The highlight of our year is our wonderful Christmas LoveLight Concert in St Marys Church in December.
