DJ&P Newland Rennie, a multi-discipline practice of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents offering a specialist service for town and country property owners, landowners, farmers and their other professional advisors has chosen Bristol hospitals’ charity Above & Beyond and Dementia UK as their charities to fundraise for over the next year.
DJ&P Newland Rennie staff voted to help raise funds for the two charities and the team have already planned a number of challenges including the Three Peaks Endurance Trial in March, a sky dive in the Summer and coffee mornings to be held at all of their showrooms throughout the year. The firm will be fundraising in all eight offices across the South West of England and Wales. The fundraising campaign will be opened with a coffee morning at their Monmouth showroom at 87 Monnow Street on Thursday 7th March from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Kate Taylor from the Residential team of DJ&P Newland Rennie said “We have had an amazing two years raising funds for Ty Hafan and we are delighted to have chosen two different charities for this year which hold a special resonance for all of our staff. We have set ourselves a target of £16,000 to be split equally between the charities and will be advertising our fundraising events on our company facebook page and on our website”. DJ&P Newland Rennie have launched a Virgin fundraising page to funnel donations through and anyone wishing to help can do so by visiting www.virginmoneygiving.com/djpnewlandrennie.
The partnership with Above & Beyond will see the firm raise funds for Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. Gemma Jenkins, Above & Beyond corporate partnerships fundraising officer, said: “It’s great to have been chosen as the DJ&P Newland Rennie Charity of the Year and we’re really grateful for the effort they’re already putting into the partnership. It’s only thanks to the support of businesses such as these that we can continue to go above and beyond for Bristol’s hospitals.”
Dementia UK is a charity which provides specialist support for families facing dementia. A number of staff have accessed this vital service when caring for their relatives and the team are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause.
