With over twenty years classroom experience as an English Teacher, Head of Drama & Subject Mentor – Lynn is uniquely qualified and hugely passionate about empowering children through creativity.
By providing an encouraging, engaging format to develop confident interpersonal skills, Lynn believes children can become better equipped for their future (& have great fun doing it!). Lynn runs in and out of school drama clubs around the Crickhowell / Brecon areas where many of her students also opt to take LAMDA exams (see www.lamda.org.uk/examinations for more info). The exams – or rather opportunities – are perfect windows for learners in developing confidence both on a personal and developmental level. Lynn can also provide affordable private tutoring for primary school students through to adult learners in English Language, English Literature, Drama & Performing Arts.
As a current GCSE examiner for English Literature and English Language Lynn is able to provide learners with exam preparation, revision strategies and learning skills such as working in timed and pressured conditions. Additionally, she is ideally enabled to work with youngsters requiring a little extra support across a wide range of learning skills.
Lynn’s experience as a Creative Practitioner working in schools with the Lead Creative School Scheme in Wales, also feeds in to her practice as an advocate of the spoken and written word.
