Those of you who are familiar with Flash Fiction will know that the fourth annual National Flash Fiction Day is coming up on 27th June. If you’re not sure what Flash Fiction is, then read on.
Flash Fiction is widely recognised as a style of fictional literature of extreme brevity, although there is no formal word limit to qualify something as being ‘Flash Fiction’. 27th June marks this year’s National Flash Fiction Day and, in celebration, here at Focus Magazines, we’d like to invite you to submit your own Flash Fiction story to us for the chance of having it published in our June issue.
We don’t want to restrict your creativity (only the word count), so you can write about whatever you feel like. Our only request is that you limit your word count to 250 words or under (excluding the title).
We’ll choose the ones we like the best and publish them in our June issue. To submit, please send your piece in an email to Hannah@thefocus.wales . Please remember to include your name, age and the story itself within the body of the email, rather than as an attachment.
The closing date is 14th May, so get writing! We look forward to reading all your submissions!
