The much anticipated urban music festival, “Breakin’ Out” which was due to take place this weekend at Bailey Park, has been postponed until Saturday, 8th September 2012.
The organisers state that, “this will enable the Festival to be bigger and better than originally anticipated.” It has been reported that this last minute change of plan was due to the booking of a high profile act for the festival. Spokeswoman Sharon Lewis says,
“Although we are not in a position to announce this artist we feel we could not turn down the opportunity to bring them to Monmouthshire to perform for our young people. We are currently in negotiations with their management for the artist to slot this performance in between their busy recording and filming schedule.”
Tickets that have already been purchased will be honoured for the new date.
