December 8th – Cag Rodwell Glass Art
Cag Rodwell Glass Art

I am a Fused and Stained Glass Artist living in the heart of the Brecon Beacons amongst beautiful hills, valleys and superb views to inspire me. I work from my home studio designing and making colourful, contemporary glass in a quirky and imaginative way. I make a wide variety of products including pictures, mirrors, bowls, glass bunting and decorations and absolutely love the challenge of a commission.
I LOVE working with glass, it has all the qualities that I crave – bright colours, sparkle, texture, excitement and an element of danger! I will never tire of that mixed feeling of apprehension, anticipation and excitement just before I open the kiln in the morning. I have had to wait all night to see whether I have a pleasant surprise or a disaster!
I came to glass making by accident as I agreed to go to an evening class with a friend, but then I discovered that I really liked it! Following a Foundation Course at Hereford College of Art and Design in 2006, I wanted to learn more about this fascinating medium so I have attended multiple courses in Bristol and Ledbury. These courses have encouraged me to develop an experimental direction which forms a huge part of the fused glass process.
Cag Rodwell’s bauble should go on the tree as pictured below, (click on the picture for a larger version).
If you don’t have a hard copy of the magazine, you can still play along by printing out a copy of the tree here, and all the baubles here.
