SUMMARY:Qi Flow – Movement class
DESCRIPTION:Let’s flow 🤗 New class!\nQi Flow is a movement meditation, so why is it so repetitive? Repetition – in Qigong for health – matters because it creates the inner conditions for the body, breath, and mind to settle into harmony.\nThrough steady, rhythmic practice, the nervous system softens, the subtle body awakens, and the movement begins to reveal its deeper intelligence.\nWhy repetition transforms the practice –\nThe body learns through rhythm: simple movements repeated with ease allow the muscles to release unnecessary effort.\nOver time, the posture refines itself, the joints loosen, and the whole gesture becomes smoother, more fluid, and more efficient.\nThe breath synchronises with the motion: slow, spacious breathing naturally entrains to the repeated movement. As breath and body fall into a shared tempo, the system shifts toward calm, regulation, and coherence.\nThe mind steadies and deepens. Predictable movement frees attention from strain. Instead of “trying to focus,” awareness can widen and settle.\nThis is where it becomes meditative: visualisation, sensing, or simple presence can arise without effort.\nQi circulation strengthens through consistency. Gentle repetition supports the continuous flow of energy. Breath, posture, and intention begin to work together, allowing the subtle body to open and regulate itself.\nHow repetition feels from the inside – As the movement becomes familiar, practitioners often notice:\n✨️a widening sense of internal space\n✨️warmth, tingling, or gentle pulsing in the limbs\n✨️a seamless transition between inhale and exhale\n✨️a shift from “I am doing this” to “the movement is doing itself”\nThis is why even the simplest Qigong forms can be profound. The depth doesn’t come from complexity, it comes from the quiet, attentive repetition that lets the practice reveal its layers.\nAs we build our layers we form a routine of flowing movements, whereby, as a collective – rather than individuals, our energy flows as one.\nSatori’s Qi Flow classes are at 10.00am every Saturday and 6:30pm Wednesday (starting 06/05) at Abergavenny Community Centre – Come flow with us 🙏\n#wellbeing #abergavenny #monmouthshire\n
