DESCRIPTION:\n\nIn conversation with Dr Peter Wakelin.\nThe writer and broadcaster Francine Stock is a former presenter of the BBC’s Newsnight and The Money Programme. In her early career she was a producer then a reporter in news, working with Robin Day and Jeremy Paxman among others. On Radio 4 she has helmed The Film Programme and the live arts magazine programme Front Row. Among her books are a social history of cinema, In Glorious Technicolour, and the novels A Foreign Country (shortlisted for the Whitbread Award) and Man-Made Fibre.\nPeter Wakelin chairs the Board of Cadw and is President of the Contemporary Art Society for Wales.
